Arena Raises $200M for AI Safety Index

Arena Intelligence Inc. raised $200 million at a $3.1 billion valuation, up from $1.7 billion in January. The startup will launch an Alignment Index on Thursday to measure AI safety and alignment across more than two dozen models, including OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol and Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5.
