Mistral AI releases Timestral, a family of time-series foundation models ranging from 5M to 209M parameters. The 209M model ranks first on GIFT-Eval, TIME, and fev-bench benchmarks. It runs on CPUs with inference times of 10 ms for the 5M model and 140 ms for the 209M model on an 8-thread server.
