Chainlink Releases CCIP 2.0 After $292M Bridge Hack

Chainlink released CCIP 2.0 on Monday, letting companies add custom security checks to cross-chain transfers on top of its 16-operator verifier network. The upgrade follows April's $292 million Kelp DAO hack, blamed on a LayerZero bridge relying on a single verifier. Chainlink's Risk Management Network no longer double-checks transactions, so users adding nothing now rely on one verifier network.
