PokeBot, a Chinese embodied-AI startup, raised hundreds of millions of dollars in a pre-A round led by Shunwei Capital and Matrix Partners. The months-old company builds household robots for tasks like clothes folding and cooking. A demo showed a robot autonomously cooking mapo tofu in nine minutes.
