SkillSpector Exposes Agent Skill Security Gaps

NVIDIA's SkillSpector scanner correctly flagged a honeypot skill as 100/100 dangerous but raised 20 findings on a legitimate skill, 16 of which were its stated GitHub API job. The score collapsed findings into one integer without distinguishing which four mattered. Snyk's February 2026 scan found 76% of 3,984 published skills confirmed malicious.
