Uber and Wayve to launch UK robotaxis this summer

Wayve, a British autonomous driving startup, will launch its robotaxi service with Uber in London this summer, pending final approvals. The service will initially operate with a licensed operator behind the wheel, with fully driverless operations planned for the future. This would be the first commercial autonomous taxi service in Europe.
