ChatGPT Dominates AI Referral Traffic at 95.1%

ChatGPT sent 95.1% of AI chatbot referral traffic to websites in August, its highest share this year, per BrightEdge. Referrals grew 101% from January to August, with a 36% jump in August alone. Gemini held 2.4%, Perplexity 1.1% and Claude 0.8%. Total AI referral traffic rose about 73% in under a year.
