
Mexico unveiled the Olinia Uno electric vehicle prototype with a 14.7 kWh battery and 125-kilometre range. Commercial production starts in 2027 at a facility beginning construction in August to September 2026. The vehicle costs 150,000 Mexican pesos and has a 0.49-peso-per-kilometre operating cost. Mexico plans 2,000 public charging points in Mexico City, State of Mexico, and Puebla.
