Microsoft pressured LG into disabling unwanted McAfee trial pop-ups on Windows 11 PCs connected to LG monitors. LG's Monitor App Installer was silently installing driver updates and the McAfee option without explicit user permission. LG agreed to immediately disable the pop-up from the installer.
