Scandium Canada acquires, rebrands ski-maker Ferreol Technologies

Montréal-based Scandium Canada acquired Québec City ski-maker Ferreol Technologies for $6.6 million in cash, stock, and assumed liabilities. The company rebranded the facility as Scalium+ to commercialize aluminum-scandium alloys that are 45 percent stronger than standard aerospace aluminum.
