Fox Closes $22B Roku Acquisition Early

Fox Corp. closed its $22 billion acquisition of streaming platform Roku on Friday, well ahead of the expected 2027 date. Anthony Wood joins the Fox board as co-chair of the new Fox Digital Platforms division alongside Paul Cheesbrough. The deal includes Roku's 100 million household customer base and promises approximately $400 million in annualized cost synergies within two years.
