Indian smartphone shipments fell 13% year-on-year in Q2 to 33.9 million units, according to Omdia. vivo led with 18% market share but shipments dropped 23%. Apple was the only top-five vendor to grow, shipping 3.5 million units for 10% share. Rising memory prices reduced affordability for mass-market consumers.
