Beijing startup Z.ai launched GLM-5.2, a Chinese AI model ranking fourth on Artificial Analysis intelligence leaderboards ahead of MiniMax-M3 and DeepSeek V4 Pro. The system scores 1,524 on GDPval-AA metrics while costing $1.40 per million input tokens versus significantly higher fees for Western rivals.
