AMD's ROCm 7.2 now supports Windows and Linux, doubling supported Ryzen and Radeon hardware. Day-zero model support arrived for Gemma 4, GPT-OSS, Llama 4, and DeepSeek. RDNA 4 adds B-frame support to its AV1 encoder, improving H.264 quality and HEVC encoding by 11%, narrowing the gap with Nvidia's NVENC.
