How MIT students are helping to prevent cyberattacks

MIT's Cybersecurity Clinic, launched in 2019 by Lecturer Jungwoo Chun and Professor Lawrence Susskind, provides free vulnerability assessments to New England municipalities and health-care organizations. The course trains students from any discipline in defensive social engineering, emphasizing human factors over purely technical solutions. Over 40 assessments have been completed.
