Anthropic Releases Free Claude Haiku 5.5

Anthropic released Claude Haiku 5.5 on October 7 as the successor to Haiku 4.5. The model is free for all plans and scores 72.4% on OSWorld benchmarks. API pricing drops by about 90% to $0.10 per million input tokens. GitHub added the model to paid Copilot plans on the same day.
