Samsung Foundry Expects Fourfold Customer Growth by 2029

Samsung's foundry division expects its customer count to quadruple by 2029 compared with 2017, a senior vice president said at Korea Premium Week 2026. Customers have already tripled since the unit became independent in 2017. High-performance computing, 5% of the business in 2017, has reached 28% and is projected to hit 66% by 2029.
