Flock Cameras Hacked in Under 30 Seconds

Hacker Jon Gaines showed in a November 2025 white paper that a secondhand Flock license plate camera could be compromised in under 30 seconds with physical access, exposing internal data. Flock says findings are legitimate but low severity, that its cloud was never breached, and that 3 percent of police clients refused MFA until an August 2026 update.
