Morgan Stanley enters U.K. rental market with $1.4B acquisition

Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing acquired Metra Living, a portfolio of 3,200 London rental households, for $1.4 billion. The deal closed an 18-month sale process from a housing association exiting market-rate rentals. Morgan Stanley partnered with Ridgeback Group on the acquisition.
