Google Opens TorchTPU for PyTorch Users

Google announced TorchTPU at the PyTorch Conference 2026, making its native PyTorch stack for TPUs open source on GitHub. Co-developed with Meta, the tool lets users train and deploy models on TPUs using familiar APIs. Partnerships with Hugging Face, Inferact, RadixArk, Red Hat, and IBM expand support for Transformers, vLLM, SGLang, and llm-d 1.0.
