Threat actors hide commands in FTP server banners to deliver two new remote access trojans, E4del and PINHOLE. SOCRadar found the technique weaponized since early July 2026, with attacks starting via ZIP archives and LNK files. E4del masquerades as Discord; PINHOLE uses Pinterest and SurveyMonkey for C2.
