Payoneer Surges on $2.7B Nuvei Acquisition Offer

Payoneer Global stock jumped 24.32% to $6.39 after reports that Canadian payments firm Nuvei is in advanced talks to acquire the cross-border payments platform for about $2.7 billion. Trading volume hit 51.7 million shares, 1,005% above average. Payoneer's market cap of $2.15 billion sits 25% below the offer price.
