Windows 11 now offers point-in-time restore through the Windows Recovery Environment, reverting the OS, apps, settings, and local files to an earlier state. Each restore point is stored locally and auto-deleted after 72 hours or when free disk space falls below 20 GB. New points are created approximately every 24 hours by default.
