Meta Spins Off VR Fitness App Supernatural for $400M

Meta spun off Supernatural, a VR fitness app acquired for $400 million in 2023, into Supernatural Health. The app will relaunch in autumn on Meta Quest with higher subscription prices. Meta sunsetted its version on 3 December. The move follows an eight-month FTC antitrust battle that Meta won in February 2023. Supernatural thrived among older adults and mobility-challenged users before being placed in maintenance mode in January 2026.
