Rivian CEO signals self-driving prices, like Tesla's, will fall

Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe said self-driving software will follow the same path as airbags, starting as a paid option and eventually becoming standard. Rivian charges $2,500 or $49.99 monthly for Autonomy+, while Tesla moved to $99 monthly subscriptions. Scaringe acknowledged the premium exists only while few companies deliver the capability.
