The badkeys project discovered a new class of weak RSA keys containing many zeros. Hanno collected real-world keys from Certificate Transparency logs, TLS and SSH scans, and PGP sources. The dataset revealed numerous keys with sparse moduli patterns, making them vulnerable to factoring.
