Solar Industries shares fell nearly 9% on Tuesday after the company announced the Rs 12,951 crore (approximately US$1.355 billion) all-cash acquisition of South Africa's Omnia Holdings. The deal, to be executed by subsidiary Solar SA Investments, is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals and is expected to close in early to mid 2027. Upon completion, Omnia will be delisted from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
