Hackers Exploit Plex Servers for Crypto

On Saturday, attackers exploited a chain of four bugs in Plex Media Server to deploy crypto miners and residential proxies. Nearly 49,000 vulnerable servers remain exposed globally, with about 25,100 in North America and 17,600 in Europe, despite a patch released on August 4th.
