Developer Sergio López implements synchronous queues for VirtIO-FS, dropping libkrunfw build time from 7 minutes and 43 seconds to 5 minutes and 34 seconds. The change improves random I/O performance and reduces file deletion latency for the host thread running the vCPU process before returning to the guest.
