BNY Mellon adds USDC stablecoin services for institutions

BNY Mellon will let institutional clients custody, mint, and redeem Circle's USDC through its Digital Asset Custody platform. The bank plans to support additional stablecoin issuers over time. BNY already serves as the primary custodian of the reserves backing USDC.
