Fidelity cuts SpaceX IPO minimum to $2,000

Fidelity lowered the minimum account balance for customers to invest in SpaceX's IPO to $2,000, down from $100,000 or $500,000 depending on the IPO. SpaceX is targeting a $1.8 trillion valuation in its June 12 IPO, the largest ever. The company reserved up to 30% of the offering for retail investors, far above the typical 5% to 10%. SpaceX will also trade on two major indexes within days, affecting 401(k) holders in broad index funds.
