DoorDash launched Ask DoorDash, an AI chatbot that lets users place orders by uploading photos of grocery lists or recipes. The bot also accepts voice or written prompts and makes recommendations based on past orders and social media reviews. Nearly half of takeout orders during its iOS rollout came from new customers.
