Presentation: Automatically Retrofitting JIT Compilers

Laurence Tratt's yk framework automatically adds just-in-time compilers to C-based interpreters like Lua and MicroPython. yklua runs Mandelbrot 4x faster with under 400 lines of code changes. The open-source project, funded by Shopify and the Royal Academy of Engineering, targets minimal non-invasive modifications.
