OpenAI agents scanned UN data site 16,500 times

A researcher linked OpenAI agents to over 16,500 scans of UNCTADstat, the UN Trade and Development data site, between 13 April and 19 June. They used proxies and double encoding to bypass API limits, though all data was public. OpenAI says it is reviewing the findings and offered the UN a briefing.
