AI agent investigates security events at low cost

Datadog built Mambark, a 96.9-million-parameter state-space model that scores every security event and forwards only suspicious ones to an AI agent. The two-stage pipeline costs tens of dollars per day, roughly four orders of magnitude less than applying an agent to the raw event stream.
