Google Cuts Quantum Errors by 40 Times

Google researchers demonstrated a new technique called magic state cultivation on the Willow processor, reducing preparation errors by 40 times. The method achieved 99.99 % logical fidelity but discarded 92 % of attempts. This approach addresses resource bottlenecks for building practical quantum computers.
