WeRide begins commercial deployment of driverless robotaxis in Abu Dhabi

WeRide obtained the world's first city-level L4 driverless commercial operation license outside the US, approved by the UAE federal government. The license allows robotaxi services without safety drivers in Abu Dhabi, launching through Uber and TXAI platforms. The fleet has accumulated nearly one million kilometers of operation.
