Huawei and Shenzhen-based memory company SwaySure have partnered to set up a 12-inch DRAM production plant in Shenzhen. The fab, built on a 28nm process, targets 140,000 wafers per month. The move aims to secure captive HBM for Huawei's Ascend AI accelerators.
