Google Wallet Adds Digital Driver Licenses

As of late 2025, Google Wallet rolled out support for mobile driver's licenses in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Montana, and New Mexico. The digital ID meets federal verification standards and is approved at certain TSA checkpoints. Google is also pushing a beta to turn US passports into digital IDs for airport security and domestic checks.
