Model predicts sheet metal behavior in seconds

A research team led by Kyung Mun Min and Seonghwan Choi at the Korea Institute of Materials Science developed a microstructure-based model that predicts anisotropic mechanical behavior of sheet metals in seconds. The model uses only microstructural information and targets car and battery design applications.
