Kyndred Raises €500K for AI Companions

Romanian startup Kyndred raised €500,000 in pre-seed funding from Early Game Ventures to build AI companions with a face, voice and memory. Its first companion, Maya, has over 150 paying customers three months after launch. The company will use the funds to improve Maya, develop more companions, grow its customer base and hire AI and product engineers.
