Mobile Manufacturing Creates 12 Lakh Jobs

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw states mobile manufacturing created 12 lakh jobs, with electronics manufacturing employing 25 lakh people. The government paid Rs 19,000 crore in incentives against Rs 25,000 crore in direct tax collections. A new scheme approved in July runs from FY 2026-31 with a Rs 62,500 crore outlay to boost domestic production and exports.
