Google OpenRL: Self-Hosted API for LLM Fine-Tuning

Google's GKE Labs introduced OpenRL, an open-source project providing a self-hosted API for post-training and fine-tuning LLMs on standard Kubernetes clusters. OpenRL abstracts reinforcement learning infrastructure from AI research, enabling teams to scale workflows on their own cluster and increase GPU utilization by running multiple RL jobs.
