IBM CEO Arvind Krishna told investors that customers postponed large software purchases in Q2, not abandoned them, as enterprise budgets shifted to AI infrastructure. About a third of those delayed deals have already closed in the new quarter. IBM also launched Project Lightwell, a $1 million-per-year AI service to remediate open source vulnerabilities.
