Tesla recalls 2.74M cars in China for driver monitoring

Tesla is recalling 2,740,642 vehicles in China to strengthen driver monitoring, using the cabin camera to track the driver's eyes after regulators found hand-on-wheel checks insufficient. Separately, Tesla joins 11 carmakers recalling nearly 3 million vehicles over hidden emergency door releases, installing warning labels and pushing software updates.
