Blizzard layoffs are reportedly imminent, according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, days after a packed BlizzCon 2026 and a popular World of Warcraft: Forever beta. The cuts follow Microsoft's plan to eliminate 3,200 Xbox jobs this year, with 1,600 already gone. Blizzard escaped the first round but may not avoid the second wave expected this week.
