Chrome hijacks Ctrl+G for Gemini

Chrome registered a global keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+G on Mac and Alt+G on Windows, to open a Gemini popup without asking and without identifying itself as Chrome or Gemini. The shortcut works even when Chrome is not the active app. Turning it off requires navigating to 'AI innovations' then 'Gemini in Chrome' in settings.
