Vercel Functions using Node.js now support per-path request cancellation. Developers enable it by adding "supportsCancellation": true to vercel.json. Cancellation triggers on navigation away, tab close, or AI chat stop. The feature reduces unnecessary compute and token generation by listening for Request.signal.aborted.
