TD and Cohere Launch $25-Million AI Collaboration

Toronto-Dominion Bank will invest up to $25 million over three years in a strategic collaboration between its AI research centre, Layer 6, and Toronto LLM developer Cohere. The partnership will explore applying Cohere's secure enterprise AI models across TD to improve productivity, decision-making and client experience, following TD's $150-billion commitment last week to financing AI and other critical sectors.
