Hyundai Deploys Robot Dogs For Security At 2026 World Cup

Hyundai is deploying four customized Spot robots from its Boston Dynamics subsidiary for security operations at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The robots will be stationed at the International Broadcast Center in Dallas and at the New York-New Jersey Stadium. They will perform autonomous patrols, site monitoring, and inspection work. Hyundai has been using the robots to patrol its own plants for a few years, showcasing its robotics ambitions as FIFA's Official Robotics Partner.
